LAN Party 2/25/12
When: Saturday at 7:00pm
Where: NESIT 290 Pratt St – 2nd Floor Meriden, CT Use the East entrance next to Club 24.
Cost: $10, snacks will be available and we usually get a pool up to order pizza, soda is 50¢ and B.Y.O.B. All proceeds go to help support NESIT and it’s community programs.
Computer Games: Counter Strike,Counter Strike Source, Unreal Tournament, Quake III, Left 4 Dead 2, Killing Floor, Open Arena.
XBOX Games: let us know if you want to play we’ll try to bring one for the event.
Old Skool Games: Nintendo and super Nintendo will be set up on the emulator box and play on the projector in between videos, etc.

NESIT Computer Clinic

Are you experiencing computer issues? NESIT will be holding a computer Clinic Saturday February 18th from 10 AM to 5 PM. Stop by and let our team of volunteers clean spyware, adware viruses and more from your PC, Mac or Linux computer. We can also help with wireless and email issues.
This type of work typically costs hundreds of dollars when performed by the likes of consulting firms and even retail stores like Staples, Best Buy and the Geek Squad. Our volunteers are certified IT pro’s with decades of experience all at your disposal to help you get your computer running again. We simply ask that if you’re able to please make a donation of at least 25 dollars so that we can continue to offer this excellent service to the public. NESIT is a federally registered 501(c)(3) charity.
Ebay Store
We finished our ebay day by listing some spare things we have around the shop. We still have alot to go through but this is a start to us raising funds to buy new tools and project supplies for the space.
